Well there are two hugely popular RPG games out right now, and that of course is Skyrim and Dark Souls. If you are thinking about Skyrim vs Dark Souls or Dark Souls vs Skyrim, but can’t decide, read on…

Probably the first thing you should know is that Dark Souls is extremely challenging. I mean, really really difficult sometimes. You will want to throw your controller at the TV type of hard, ok? So if that isn’t your thing, then probably Skyrim is the better choice.

Skyrim is more open world, doing quests and exploring type of RPG. Dark Souls is just a sickly challenge honestly… If you’re into the open world type questing thing, definitely go towards Skyrim.

About the graphics, I think the graphics in both games are great. Probably most people would say Skyrim’s graphics are better, but personally I just like the “feel” of Dark Souls, that’s just me. Skyrim does have times when you’re like wow that looks so cool… but if am choosing one over the other just for the graphics, I would actually take Dark Souls.

As far as price, Dark Souls right now (Dec 18, 2011) looks like it’s on sale at $39.99 at Amazon but Skyrim is $49.99 and probably will keep getting lower as time goes on. I would keep watching Amazon’s prices or maybe get Used at Gamestop. Personally I just like amazon because prices are usually the best and that’s for a new game, plus free shipping.

If there is one popular game happening right now, it is definitely Just Dance 3 for Wii. This game hasn’t budged from the #1 top selling spot in at least a week, while the other games constantly get shuffled around. So what makes Just Dance 3 so popular?

First of all, it’s already a great franchise. Just Dance 1 is already a classic that makes exercise and dancing plain old fun. Then there’s Just Dance 2, which some say it’s just as good if not better than the first one. And now comes along Just Dance 2 and it has everyone raving about it. The franchise does not let down.

Second, anyone that now owns the game can tell you, it is a blast getting up and moving and getting into the game. Nobody can just sit there and not get into it, unless you are truly a couch potato! Or unless you’ve been dancing so much that now you are tired.

Third, most people feel that the motion tracking is very much improved over 1 and 2. This has it making for more of an overall rewarding experience in playing an already great game.

Finally, it’s just that time of year, with the Holidays and Christmas right around the corner, and it’s also a time when people are feeling concerned about gaining those holiday pounds. What better way than to give or receive a fun game that involves exercise?

If you haven’t got Just Dance 3 for Wii yet, it seems that now is the time, while everyone is jumping on board, so to speak!
